Bali zoo’s newborn baby giraffe named Corona

Corona weighed 120 lbs and stood 6” tall when she was born which is the average height for a newborn giraffe. She seems to be healthy and already breastfeeding.

The Corona the calf giraffe was born on April 9 to mother Sophie and father Matadi and all three will quarantine together while closely being watched by veterinarians. Corona also has two siblings who are eager to meet their new sister.
